On a windy spring day I was able to head up to the clock tower of East High School, which is the oldest high school in Denver but not the oldest school building. The original East High School at 19th and Stout was demolished in 1925. The East High School building has a clock tower modeled after Independence Hall in Philadelphia. This tower sits 162 feet high and provides views of the Denver area from the location of the school near City Park. On this day I captured downtown Denver using the windows to frame the city making it slightly out of focus with a shallow depth of field.
