With some wildfires just southwest of Denver I headed out to City Park in early October to photograph the skyline at sunset. Sometimes the light smoke at the areas will give a little more orange during sunset than normal and this was the case with this image. From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains. Taking the image towards the sun also allowed me to silhouette the skyline of the city as well as the mountain skyline in the distance.
