As I stood in the pre-dawn light on the beach in Hawaii, I noticed two rocks in the sand which the tide was coming to during each rotation of water. Using the low light I set up my tripod to capture the two rocks and the motion of the water with a longer exposure. Once my image was framed I wait for the water to move up the beach and let extended shutter opening turn the water into a dream-like state.
