Located in Western Montana, Missoula is a little then the eastern part of the state. While living there for a few months during the fall I hiked up part of the hill to the east of the city to capture the fall colors changing around the University of Montana. Over the course of a couple of weeks it was a morning routine to go to this spot and photograph and after a while some of the regulars would stop and chat. There were a few locations I photographed from to show the clock tower with different backgrounds.
