As I was walking along Ocean Beach in San Francisco, I headed up the hill towards the Cliff House, from here you can look directly down on the beach. This is where I noticed the beach and water coming together and also leaving a reminder of the prior wave coming onto the beach during low tide. Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color.
