I headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport. My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening. The area which I selected did not disappoint nor did the flow of traffic from multiple airlines at that time of night allowing for fine tuning of the process prior to the light disappearing, the flow of traffic slowing and the temperatures beginning to drop.
