In Colorado there is always excitement for the first snow of the season in the city, even if it has been snowing in the mountains for quite a while. For the 2008-2009 snow season, the first snow was not until mid-November which is quite late. A few weeks earlier I captured the fall colors around the Governor's Mansion and thought it would be a good comparison to photograph around there during this late snowfall once again working the lines into the image.
